I had a lecture from Ernest back in the 70's which I remember well. It is a most unusual and heartening experience to listen to an address by a prominent politician which I find I agree with. I'm pinching myself. I am also delighted that Greece, the originator of European civilisation, is today leading the fight to rescue it from the plague of neoliberalism which threatens to destroy it. Alexis Tsipras is clearly the pre-eminent social and political left leader in Europe. The traditional left having long ago sold-out to the right and accepted the neoliberal ideology.
